If reheating, ensure thorough heating in the oven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a different approach, slice it into small cubes and serve it chilled as a delightful addition to drinks during an aperitif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>7-8 large chard leaves (only the green parts, not the ribs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>400g of mincemeat or smoked pork belly (or any meat leftovers for a genuine Pounti!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100g flour or wheat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>25cl milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 large onions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A dozen pitted prunes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt and pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A bunch of parsley<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Butter to grease the dish<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A rectangular oven dish (the best shape)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare the stuffing: chop the chards, mincemeat, onions and parsley with a hand grinder (a robot chops too thinly)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beat in the eggs and flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gradually pour the milk in<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add salt and pepper to liking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Butter the oven dish<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place half the stuffing in the dish<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arrange half of the prunes over the stuffing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spread the remaining stuffing on top<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the remaining prunes on top of the stuffing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bake for 40 minutes at 190\u00b0C<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure your Pounti is perfectly cooked, look for a beautiful golden crust on the surface. You can also use a small wooden skewer to check its doneness, similar to when testing a cake.
