Salted caramel and Icelandic vodka make an irresistible mix<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>100g\u00a0pecans finely chopped<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>160g\u00a0golden caster sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bd tsp\u00a0sea saltflakes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reyka\u00a0vodka<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\u00a0egg whites<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>120ml\u00a0fresh clementine juice(about 2-3 clementines)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>18 drops\u00a0chocolate bitters(we used Fee brothers Aztec chocolate bitters)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6\u00a0dehydrated orange slicesto serve<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>good grating of nutmeg to serve<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternatively, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>use butterscotch liqueur\u00a0blended in a liquidiser with pecans\u00a0and salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add clemintine\u00a0juice and chocolate\u00a0bitters and egg white<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Garnish with dried orange<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A modern version of the classic sour cocktail, this is the ultimate Christmas drink.
