{"id":149,"date":"2020-12-20T17:13:51","date_gmt":"2020-12-20T17:13:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fraser-clark.com\/food\/?p=149"},"modified":"2020-12-21T19:35:44","modified_gmt":"2020-12-21T19:35:44","slug":"chicago-italian-beef","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fraser-clark.com\/food\/archives\/149","title":{"rendered":"Chicago Italian Beef"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Beef brisket Chicago style on a sandwich.<\/p><cite>Simon Rimmer, Sunday Brunch<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 brisket &#8211; 450g<\/li><li>2 tablespoons brown sugar<\/li><li>zest of 1 orange<\/li><li>1 large white onion<\/li><li>6 gloves of garlic<\/li><li>4 teaspoons black pepper<\/li><li>4 tablespoons course ground coffee (!! not instant !!)<\/li><li>2 teaspoons chilli<\/li><li>450ml stock<\/li><li>Jalapeno chillies &#8211; to serve<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mayonaise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>200g mayonaise<\/li><li>1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce<\/li><li>2 tablespoons mustard<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mix and rub the dry ingredients into the brisket<\/li><li>Slice onion &amp; garlic, lay on a baking dish.
