{"id":305,"date":"2020-12-29T16:02:35","date_gmt":"2020-12-29T16:02:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fraser-clark.com\/food\/?p=305"},"modified":"2020-12-29T16:08:38","modified_gmt":"2020-12-29T16:08:38","slug":"kansas-city-style-bbq-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fraser-clark.com\/food\/archives\/305","title":{"rendered":"Kansas City Style BBQ Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Excellent BBQ sauce that goes with sandwiches, pulled pork, and especially smoked chicken.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>14oz can of crushed tomatoes<\/li><li>1 cup ketchup<\/li><li>3\/4 cup brown sugar<\/li><li>1\/2 cup apple cider vinegar<\/li><li>1\/2 cup molasses<\/li><li>1 tablespoon smoked paprika<\/li><li>1 tablespoon salt<\/li><li>2 teaspoons ground black pepper<\/li><li>1 teaspoon chilli powder<\/li><li>1 teaspoon garlic powder<\/li><li>1 teaspoon onion powder<\/li><li>1\/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes<\/li><li>1\/2 teaspoon ground mustard<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.  Whisk to combine.<\/li><li>Bring to the boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer.
