{"id":858,"date":"2022-12-12T14:41:26","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T14:41:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fraser-clark.com\/food\/?p=858"},"modified":"2022-12-12T14:41:26","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T14:41:26","slug":"gok-wans-dragon-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fraser-clark.com\/food\/archives\/858","title":{"rendered":"Gok Wan&#8217;s Dragon Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Hot oil dipping sauce with chilli and garlic &#8211; great with dumplings or seafood.<\/p>\n<cite>Gok Wan<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1 fresh red chilli, finely sliced<br>\u00bd a spring onion, finely sliced<br>1\u20132 cloves of garlic, peeled and finely chopped<br>1 tablespoon light soy sauce<br>\u00bd\u20131 tablespoon fish sauce<br>\u00bd teaspoon sesame oil<br>75ml groundnut oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix together the chilli,\u00a0spring onion, garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce and sesame oil in\u00a0a heatproof serving bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour the groundnut oil into a pan\u00a0and heat until smoking, then very carefully pour over the chilli\u00a0mix, watching out for hot oil splashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the oil has calmed down, mix everything together.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hot oil dipping sauce with chilli and garlic.
